The Punt Daily: three to follow on Wednesday

BANKER
Sevenna Star (2.50 Nottingham)
Came from a long way back when given a decent education in a hot-looking maiden at Sandown last month – which also included his more-fancied stablemate First Eleven, who was well beaten – where he was very coltish in the preliminaries, so that effort is worth marking up considerably. The third, Delsheer, has come out and won since and the race looks sure to produce it's fair share of classy performers. This attractive German-bred colt will improve for the extra half-furlong and will no doubt progress into a top-class three-year-old over middle distances. (Maddy Playle)
EYECATCHER
Glendevon (5.55 Kempton)
In what looks a very hot, competitive maiden, Richard Hughes' Glendevon can score on his second start. The big, impressive son of Scat Daddy clearly bumped into a useful type when runner-up here on debut but showed plenty of ability, despite greenness, and drew four lengths clear of his other rivals. He was keen on that occasion and connections will hope he will settle better today, but with any amount of improvement to come, he looks the one to be on. Out of the rest, keep an eye on Kawasir – he may well be a surefire future winner. (Tom Collins)
IRISH ANGLE
Mojambo (3.25 Gowran Park)
A tricky nursery on paper and any number of these could improve to land this. However, the most likely to do so is the Ger Lyons-trained Mojambo and at the expected odds, she looks worth a play. Recording RPRs in the 40s on all of her three starts, she'll need to improve a vast amount to challenge some more exposed, proven performers, but with Colin Keane taking over for the first time since her debut and the return to seven furlongs in her favour, that looks almost certain. She stayed on nicely when given plenty to do in a decent maiden last time out and can make it fourth-time lucky. (Tom Collins)
