The Punt Daily: Robbie Wilders' two horse racing tips at Leopardstown on Tuesday

EYECATCHER

Coltor (1.10 Leopardstown)

A relatively rare jumps runner for Dermot Weld who finished second to the potentially top-class French Aseel in the 2m maiden hurdle on this card last year. Claimed fifth behind Jeff Kidder in the 2m½f Fred Winter the last time he was sighted over hurdles and has run with great encouragement in three starts on the Flat since. Landed an ultra-competitive 2m1f handicap at the Galway festival before performing with credit in the 2m Naas November Handicap in October. Considering the improvement he has made on the Flat when upped to staying trips in recent months, Coltor makes plenty of appeal upped to 3m for the first time in the Pertemps qualifier at Leopardstown. He could be much better than a mark of 127 over hurdles and top apprentice Sam Ewing takes 3lb off.

EACH-WAY PLAY

Abacadabras (1.45 Leopardstown)

I'm a huge fan of Klassical Dream but feel Abacadabras doesn't deserve to be close to double-figure odds in the Grade 1 Christmas Hurdle at Leopardstown. He accounted for Buzz in smooth fashion when upped to 2m4f for the first in the Aintree Hurdle and was given too much to do in the Hatton's Grace on his return behind Honeysuckle. Gordon Elliott is keen to make a stayer out of Abacadabras and this slick jumper settles well nowadays and has every chance of getting 3m. If ridden more prominently he can put it up to Klassical Dream and he must be the each-way bet at his current odds.
