Dashel Drasher made his name as a chaser last season but was progressive when last seen over hurdles, winning four on the bounce including a victory over the smart Remastered over this course and distance. His comeback third to Lostintranslation at Ascot in the 1965 Chase was an encouraging effort considering he would have needed the run, was carrying a 6lb penalty and has never been at home on good ground. He reverts to hurdles off a mark of 149, 10lb lower than his chase rating, and he will love these more testing conditions.
