The form of Godrevy Point's three-and-a-quarter length second to Grade 1-bound Skytastic a couple of starts back looks red-hot and he rates an intriguing handicap debutant off a mark off 117. Godrevy Point gave short-priced favourite backers at Hereford a real scare when just asserting close home last time but he wasn't helping his chance by hanging and the return to a left-handed track will suit. The drying ground at Haydock should suit and he looks the one to beat in this 3m½f handicap hurdle for trainer Richard Bandey, who is operating at a 33 per cent strike-rate over the last fortnight.
