The Punt Daily: Robbie Wilders' free horse racing tip on Wednesday afternoon
BANKER
Mr Wendell (5.25 Gowran Park)
Ger Lyons has been saddling winners left, right and centre since the restart and he can unleash Mr Wendell to earn a first victory in the 7f maiden at Gowran Park. A cursory glance at Mr Wendell’s form suggests his sixth in a mile maiden at the Curragh last time was a regression from his opening second at Naas. However, that looked a stronger event, with winner Delphi following up in a handicap off 88 last week and third Agitare rated 98. Mr Wendell was one of the last two off the bridle but did not seem to get home over a mile. He steps back a furlong in distance which is destined to suit, and seemingly none of his Gowran opponents possess the ability of Delphi or Agitare.
