The Punt Daily: Robbie Wilders' free horse racing tip at Haydock on Wednesday
BANKER
Doc Penfro (1.15 Haydock)
Lightly race eight-year-old who has only been seen five times on the track since finishing down the field in the 2018 Champion Bumper. Has progressed with each start since joining Emma Lavelle and made an encouraging chasing debut when a ten-length second to potential top-notcher The Big Breakaway at Cheltenham off level weights. He was the only one to momentarily make a race of it with the Colin Tizzard-trained star despite not really seeing out the 3m½f test. Looks a chase winner waiting to happen down to this 2m5½f trip and receives 5lb from key market rival Espoir De Romay, who is penalised for landing a softer race on his first start over fences. This represents a good opportunity for Doc Penfro with improvement likely on the testing surface he enjoys.
