The Punt Daily: Maddy Playle with two to follow on Saturday
BANKER
Strong Glance(5.30 Cheltenham)
Showed an impressive turn of foot to win on debut at Southwell last November despite showing signs of greenness. He then contested a very hot bumper at Ascot on his second start, and despite racing wide, he stuck on well to be fifth behind Didtheyleaveuoutto and Bullionaire. That form is working out well with plenty of winners coming from in behind, and this gelding, who is related to Hennessy winner Strong Flow, can win on return.
DARK HORSE
Raakib Alhawa(4.05 Doncaster)
Good-looking Kingman colt who beat six experienced rivals in the Haynes, Hanson & Clarke Stakes at Newbury having been gingerly handled. That was a monstrous performance on debut and improvement is expected from David Simcock's juvenile. Jockey Andrea Atzeni has won four of the last five runnings of this race and his presence is an obvious plus.
