The Punt Daily: Maddy Playle with two to follow on Friday
BANKER
Willoughby Court (1.50 Newbury)
Yanworth was unlucky to fall at Exeter, but Willoughby Court won the Neptune fair and square last season, has yet to do anything wrong and is the new kid on the block. It wasn't pretty early on but he got the job done on chasing debut at Huntingdon, where he gave Casablanca Mix 7lb – she has since bolted up over course and distance – and the only other horse to run since, fourth-placed Toviere won a competitive chase at Ascot. I expect a much more polished performance here and going left-handed should bring out plenty of improvement.
DARK HORSE
Drumlee Sunset (2.00 Doncaster)
Having his first start for Tom George, Drumlee Sunset can record his second win over fences in what looks an easier race than most of the races he has ever contested. He beat Coral Cup winner Aux Ptit Soins on chasing debut and then ran in to Group 1 performers Aso and Clan Des Obeaux. Ciaran Gethings takes off 3lb, these conditions look sure to suit and he can put up a bold bid under topweight.
