Lunar Jet (2.10 Windsor)

Was heavily supported before justifying favouritism in a decent race at Goodwood last time, beating useful performers Me Too Nagasaki and Road To Dubai, who reopposes here after winning at Redcar. Lunar Jet is running off a 7lb higher mark but I don't think that will be enough to stop him judged on the style of his last performance. He has proved he will cope with these conditions and John Mackie's unexposed three-year-old can record a second lifetime win.

DARK HORSE

Lisheen Castle (3.50 Pontefract)

I'm not sure there's much between a lot of these and think it could be worth giving John Quinn's Lisheen Castle another chance. Three subsequent winners came out of his maiden, including Unwritten, who won by nine lengths over this course and distance last time. He can be forgiven his last run at Epsom where he wasn't ideally positioned in a muddling race, and the winner Dee Ex Bee has since come out and finished a fantastic second to Kew Gardens in the Zetland Stakes.

STAT ATTACK

Cheltenam De Vaige (3.30 Plumpton)

Fergal O'Brien hasn't yet had a runner at Plumpton this season and I think he's got a good chance of making it one-from-one with Cheltenam De Vaige, who wasn't disgraced in some decent contest last terms. The trainer has had ten winners from 51 runners (19.6 per cent) when running horses from other stables for the first time, returning at £36.88 to a £1 level stake since the start of 2015. This year those stats are boosted to five winners from 15 runners (33 per cent) and £11.50.
