The Punt Daily: James Hill's free horse racing tips on Sunday
BANKER
Chapel Stile (1.20 Carlisle)
A fascinating novice chase at the Cumbria track can go the way of Nicky Richards' five-year-old, who made a strong start over fences when third at the course last month. That race, won by the Two For Gold, is so far working out reasonably well, with five of the six to have run since all being at least placed on their next start. The selection should have come on for that outing and the strong gallop, which main rival Cloudy Glen is likely to set, will suit.
EYECATCHER
Multellie (11.50 Carlisle)
Big Bad Bear will be a warm order in the opening novice hurdle, but he'll face stiff opposition if Multellie can return to the sort of form which saw him win over course and distance on his penultimate start. Tim Easterby's seven-year-old, rated 78 on the Flat, impressed that day, keeping on well, but he then ran no race when well beaten at Wetherby last time. That was a pretty hot contest, though, and this event won't be as tough. He's bounced back quickly before and can't be ruled out from doing so again.
