Three horses to include in a treble

Powder Monkey (3.37 Southwell)

Crest Of Fire could prove hard to beat in this mile maiden, but the George Boughey-trained three-year-old may have more to come. An 82,000 gns purchase, he's only been seen once when beaten six lengths on his debut at Wolverhampton this month. However, he shaped better than the bare form suggested as the winner holds a 2,000 Guineas entry and stepping up to this trip should suit.

Aj's Diamond (3.58 Warwick)

This six-year-old may just be ready to strike now that she steps into handicap company in this 2m contest. Trained by Chris Gordon, she's yet to win in seven starts, but her latest effort was a step back in the right direction when third in a maiden hurdle at Wincanton. She kept on well that day when Gordon's horses weren't in the best form, but they're running at a 20 per cent strike-rate in the last fortnight now. Her opening mark of 102 looks workable.

New Order (4.30 Warwick)

The Charlie Longsdon-trained eight-year-old is generally a model of consistency and can get back to winning ways in this 3m handicap chase. While yet to win this season, he's hit the frame on his last four starts. His latest run in the Grimthorpe Chase wasn't his best, but dropping two furlongs in trip will aid his chance and he's been dropped 1lb for that.
