The Punt Acca: Lee Sharp's three horse racing tips at Ffos Las, Galway and Leicester on Tuesday

Hamiyan (4.05 Galway) 

The Wootton Bassett colt makes his second appearance. He was well beaten on his debut, but it came in a strong maiden that has produced several winners. He’s had a few months to improve, and with the benefit of experience and a step up in trip, he should be a lot better.

Catch Cunningham (4.25 Leicester) 

A five-time winner over 5f, he’s yet to get his head in front this season but has finished runner-up five times, including twice at Newmarket in July when running off 69. He lines up here off 68 in what looks an easier race, and the last time he ran from this mark he won.

Red Derek (6.25 Ffos Las)

It’s been nearly three years since Red Derek last won, but with conditions in his favour he has a chance to put that right. He relishes testing ground, with his last success coming on heavy, and he also posted second and third-placed finishes on heavy last year. This season he’s had two runs over further and was well beaten, but he drops back to his preferred trip and is 9lb below his last winning rating. Everything looks in place for a big run.
