The Punt Acca: Lee Sharp with three fancies from Kempton, Leopardstown and Market Rasen on Boxing Day

Three horses to include in a treble

Annies Gold (1.47 Market Rasen)

Her form doesn’t tell the full story as despite finishing well beaten last time, she travelled well in the main and looked as if she was going to be involved towards the end, but dropped out late on. She’s down in trip here and, with race fitness on her side, she’s worth chancing.

Romeo Coolio (2.20 Leopardstown)

He has really taken to fences and is 2-2 over them. He put in a blistering performance last time in the Drinmore, outclassing his rivals by eight lengths, and he should be able to follow that up with another win.

Gaelic Warrior (2.30 Kempton)

This fascinating running of the King George can go to Gaelic Warrior. He has shown his versatility over the years, winning races such as the Arkle, John Durkan and Bowl Chase. He was gutsy when landing the John Durkan last time, outbattling Fact To File, and they renew their rivalry. Gaelic Warrior is the proven stayer, while Fact To File has question marks over this trip. The British runners have shown potential, but Gaelic Warrior brings the best form and is the one to beat.
