The Punt Acca: Laurence Morter's three horse racing tips at Kempton, Nottingham and Sedgefield on Wednesday

Three horses to include in a treble on Wednesday

Zamond (4.15 Sedgefield)

Zamond has shown some decent form this summer without much reward, but managed to reverse his fortunes first with an eye-catching second at Bangor at the beginning of September and then followed that up with an impressive win last time. The drop back in trip is a slight concern as he looked very good over 2m4f last time and he will also have to defy a 7lb penalty for his win last week. However that raise looks manageable and connections clearly want to strike while the iron is hot.

Stormy Monday (4.30 Nottingham)

After some unspectacular results earlier this season, Stormy Monday has looked much more at home since being dropped back to 1m2f. He showed his versatility by winning on good ground at Epsom before following up with a win on good to soft at Doncaster last time. He has been put up 5lb for that win, but he still looks to be on a reasonable mark, and with conditions looking to suit him, he has every chance of bringing up a hat-trick.

Frostmagic (7.10 Kempton)

The application of headgear in his last two races seems to have helped Frostmagic take a step forward. He was first tried with a visor at Southwell and while he ended up finishing fifth, he had some excuses. Blinkers were applied for the first time when last seen and the improvement was evident as he was only just beaten into third. The blinkers are retained and he has solid claims.
