The Punt Acca: Jason Leahy's three horse racing tips at Punchestown and Yarmouth on Tuesday

Three horses to include in a treble

Lookingforarainbow (1.48 Punchestown)

Made a highly promising debut when finishing third behind the very smart Diamond Necklace, who has since boosted the form by winning a Listed race at Leopardstown. She didn’t enjoy a clear run two furlongs out, but once in the clear stayed on well to the line, beaten just over three lengths. The step up in trip looks sure to bring about further improvement, and this Justify filly will be tough to beat.

Port Of Spain (2.18 Punchetsown)

This half-brother to Group 2 winner Free Wind has shown plenty of ability in two starts at the Curragh. The St Mark’s Basilica colt shaped well on debut when sixth in a strong-looking maiden before finishing third, beaten just over five lengths, on his second start. He didn’t get the clearest of runs that day and would have finished closer with a clear passage. Open to further improvement, he looks capable of getting off the mark at the third attempt.

Nova Centauri (3.25 Yarmouth)

Shaped with plenty of promise on debut in a hot-looking Newbury maiden, finishing third behind the more experienced Venetian Prince and Wechaad. The latter has since boosted the form with a comfortable nursery success at the Doncaster St Leger meeting. John and Thady Gosden’s two-year-olds have generally come on plenty for their second run this season, and this filly looks ready to take another step forward.
