Three horses to include in a treble on Thursday

Is This For Real (12.10 Market Rasen)

The Tony Bloom-owned five-year-old beat the well-regarded Kiwi Rush, who Patrick Mullins travelled over to Kelso to ride for Harry Derham, by three-quarters of a length when successful in a bumper in March. Kiwi Rush beat one of Is This For Real's main market rivals here, Japetus, by three and a quarter lengths at the same track and trip the previous month. Is This For Real finished ahead of Kiwi Rush on 8lb worse terms than what Japetus faced him off, which suggests that the selection should have the beating of the latter. The hurdling debutant's trainer Fergal O'Brien also had a double on Wednesday.

Kefir D'Oudairies (12.40 Market Rasen)

The Fakenham bumper winner was a staying-on fifth behind Top Jimmy, who won his next start by five lengths when giving upwards of 7lb to his rivals, on his hurdling debut last month. The third from that 2m Uttoxeter race, Fortune De Mer, landed a Cheltenham Grade 2 on his next outing and the fourth was subsequently beaten only three-quarters of a length in a maiden hurdle. The step up to 2m4½f should suit here and Kefir D'Oudairies's second-placed effort to Aintree Grade 2 runner-up Destination Dubai on his debut at Hereford, the only time he has been seen on a right-handed track, reads well.

Klapton Boy (1.13 Market Rasen)

Nick Kent's chasing debutant looks potentially well handicapped off a mark of 96 when you consider the first, third and fourth from the Tattersalls Farm point-to-point he was second in have all won under rules. They include the 128-rated Rubber Ball, who ended last season in Grade 1 company, and Monday's Kempton novice hurdle winner for Joe Tizzard — Kasino Des Mottes. The five-year-old was second to four-time winner Serious Chat, who was a comfortable winner of a mark of 114 last month, on his rules debut before finishing third behind Grade 1 Challow runner-up Wendigo at Wetherby in February. Klapton Boy's sixth at Huntingdon when last seen initially seemed underwhelming, but the winner has won twice since, the second has subsequently gone one better and the fifth has also struck on the Flat. Fences and a return to the the same 3m trip as his point, may spark some improvement.
