The Punt Acca: Andrew Cooper's three horse racing tips at Beverley and Kempton on Wednesday
Three horses to include in a treble on Wednesday

Sir Maxi (3.45 Beverley)
Sir Maxi caught the eye finishing to good effect for fourth having been last over two furlongs out at Doncaster 11 days ago and a 2lb drop enables him to sneak into this 0-55. It’s a tad surprising we haven’t seen Sam England’s runner appear more often at this East-Yorkshire track given he won then made the frame on his two visits when trained by Richard Fahey. A muddling pace wouldn’t be ideal but Overlooked, ridden by Joe Fanning, and Twilight Jazz should press on.
Maybe Not (7.45 Kempton)
Three-year-olds Maybe Not and A War Eagle stand out in the mile qualifier at Kempton and Ralph Beckett’s filly is preferred. Her RPR had improved with each start until recording a joint-personal best at Newbury last time. That effort can be marked up a fair bit as she did much the best of those to come out of the pack behind an all-the-way winner who was given a fine ride by William Buick. Stepping up in trip promises to unlock more.
Only One Blue (8.15 Kempton)
The younger brigade, who are in receipt of a healthy 10lb weight-for-age allowance, can dominate the 1m4f handicap too. The key piece of form appears to be an Epsom race in July contested by Love You Back and Only One Blue bearing in mind the first and second have come out and won their only subsequent starts. Although only sixth there, Richard Hannon’s filly looked as if she’d be more effective off a stronger pace, a view that was cemented at Doncaster last time.
