Today’s treble
2.00 Bath: Etienne
Sent off favourite for the Super Sprint at Newbury when running a creditable race in fourth despite a bad start. In calmer waters here and this looks a great opportunity for him to shed his maiden tag.
2.45 Newcastle: Yordan
Broke his maiden with an impressive success at Southwell last time when looking much more comfortable dropped down to six furlongs. Connections have opted to keep him at that distance and a repeat can see him go well.
3.00 Bath: Sisters In The Sky
Course regular who is in relatively good form following a strong run at Windsor last time. Looks to be on a good mark coming into this contest and can have a strong say.
Three more to consider
4.15 Newcastle: Mr Mistoffelees
Disappointed at Redcar last time but has a decent record at this track. A mark of 75 looks fair, and he can go close despite carrying top weight.
5.50 Hamilton: Ebony Maw
Arrives in good form after top-three finishes in each of his last three starts. Won over this distance on his penultimate outing at Ayr and backed that performance up when beaten three-quarters of a length at this course off a 2lb higher mark last time.
7.30 Kempton: Remi Mae
Has come up short a few times this season, but is a consistent type and this step down in grade can see her go well. Having Oisin Murphy in the saddle is an added bonus.
