A real eyecatcher over course-and-distance last month when flying home to take fourth, after being forced to the outside of his rivals from the two-furlong pole. Has been dropped another 1lb in the weights and while he has to reverse the form with Rooful from two starts ago, he has an ideal draw in stall two and could be better-placed to make his challenge this time.

Romancero Le Dun (2.30 Ludlow)

Showed signs of inexperience on his first two starts, but still managed to get the job done comfortably on the latter of those occasions when a two-length winner at Exeter, despite drifting in the run-in. The second that day, Canrakan, has won and finished runner-up since and the Jane Williams yard could be hitting a purple patch, having scored with two of their last three runners.

Has a fine record over fences at the track with two wins over 3m as well as a good staying-on second over course-and-distance on his last start. The winner that day, Laskalin, has since placed in the Mandarin handicap chase and third was narrowly beaten at Ludlow on their next start. That form is working out okay and Tide Times goes off the same mark of 122 in this, as well as receiving weight all-round from his five-rivals, who all have something to prove on form.
