Back On The Lash (1.15 Ludlow)

He ran with credit on his last start at Cheltenham, but he just seemed to drift on the run to the line. A step back in trip could prove to be decisive and he's three from three at Ludlow, which includes his course-and-distance success in May 2021. He's won three of his ten starts since then and Harry Skelton is a notable jockey booking, so Back On The Lash should go close.

Sashenka (1.25 Plumpton)

The five-year-old has outrun her odds on both of her two previous starts on the all-weather, and that race experience should put her in good stead for a return to the turf. She stayed on well on her last run over hurdles at Hereford in October and has been a solid performer since joining Dominic Ffrench Davis. His son Ben will take the reigns and the conditional jockey is enjoying his best season to date.

Flann (2.20 Ludlow)

The Fergal O'Brien-trained seven-year-old looks to be a smart chaser in the making after an eyecatching performance at Leicester last month, finishing seven lengths clear of his nearest rival. The yard is in red-hot form and currently operating at a 21 per cent strike rate, one win away from hitting the 100 mark for the campaign. Liam Harrison, who did the steering at Leicester, is back in the saddle and Flann should be too strong for his opponents.
