The Punt Acca: Liam Headd's three horse racing tips on Monday

Blue Collar Lad(12.23 Lingfield)

He's a course-and-distance winner who stayed on well when stepping up in trip to finish third of nine at Wolverhampton on Friday. Blue Collar Lad's form reads as 863-313 on the all-weather, so he's definitely progressing on this surface and William Carson will take the reins again after steering him to victory at Lingfield last month. The Robyn Brisland-trained three-year-old is running off a nice mark of 60, which is the same as his recent start, and dropping back to a mile should give him every chance of scoring again.

Blame The Game (3.00 Plumpton)

Chris Gordon's seven-year-old has a big opportunity to complete a hat-trick over fences. He's proved himself a consistent staying chaser, winning three of his eight starts, including course success earlier in the campaign. Blame The Game has six victories and Tom Cannon, who rides again, has been on four of them, with three coming at Plumpton, so he should go close again.

Saligo Bay (3.30 Plumpton)

Gary Moore's yard is going well and Saligo Bay can add to that success by continuing his solid form. The four-year-old has failed to finish outside the top three in only five of his 18 races and he has form figures of 22212-21 over two miles, so this trip will be no issue. He was awarded the race in the stewards' room at Lingfield in November after interference with the original winner, but he jumped consistently and stayed on well that day, and another big run could be on the cards.
