The Punt Acca: Liam Headd's three horse racing tips for Monday afternoon

Rose Sea Has (1.00 Fontwell)

The Richard Newland-trained eight-year-old has been a consistent performer as of late and has a big opportunity to build on that form here. He was made to work for his win at the track on his last start, but he jumped well and powered clear after the final fence to win quite comfortably in the end. He's taking a slight step up in trip, but he has the stamina to cope and he should be too strong for the opposition.

Missed Tee (1.40 Hereford)

Dan Skelton had a weekend to remember with an across-the-card four-time on Saturday and the trainer can continue that form with Missed Tee. The six-year-old mare got off the mark at the second attempt on her last start at Uttoxeter and that experience she should continue her progress. Both of her runs under rules have come over 2m, so she's stepping up here, but her stamina is not an issue as she won a point-to-point over 3m in December 2021 by 12 lengths. She's got a great chance to add a second win in as many starts.

Coolvalla (2.30 Fontwell)

Coolvalla could not have made a better start to life over fences and the seven-year-old can extend his winning run to four here. He proved that he is a staying chaser when winning by 19 lengths over course and distance on Boxing Day, and although that race cut up, with only three of the nine runners finishing, his jumping was slick and he recorded a Racing Post Rating of 121, so more of the same should be expected.
