Pens Man(1.55 Bangor)

Jonjo O'Neill appears to have worked out how to get the best from this once expensive point-to-point winner. He thrives over this distance and on better ground, with form figures of 1134P21 to prove and with excuses for some of his defeats. Pens Man arrives here following a career best victory and can continue to exploit a low mark.

Savrola(3.20 Nottingham)

A steady improver since running in handicaps and first try at this distance was promising. The winner was completing a six-timer but he ran a respectable race while he was fairly unlucky when filling the runner-up spot the time before. Slightly better ground is more suitable and he retains potential off his current rating.

Saint Riquier(3.55 Nottingham)

This four-year-old ran to a high level as a hurdler last season and has shown enough in subsequent Flat starts to suggest he can win off his current mark. His run at Chester in June was particularly promising and while he has disappointed on two starts since it is interesting to see Ian Williams has given him a break. This trip looked like it would be ideal when finishing strongly at Chester.
