Last season's Tolworth Hurdle runner-up made an encouraging start over fences at Uttoxeter and can be fancied to reverse the form with Aucunrisque. He is now 5lb better off than that rival while also Cheltenham's stiffer finish looks as if it would suit him better given how strongly he hit the line.

Full Authority(4.20 Newbury)

Looks a big price in an open race considering he went within a short head off a 1lb higher in a similar race at Epsom on Derby day. Was too keen the next time, then was poor away on two starts after. Richard Kingscote takes over now and track and trip should be fine.

Restitution (4.55 Newbury)

Has stepped forward over hurdles since his last run on the all-weather. He won nicely the last day at Hexham and could well progress on his decent Flat form. His previous effort in that code, at Kempton last October, was an encouraging third and he stayed this distance well. Alan King's horses are in great form and his apprentice Alec Voikhansky has had a few winners already.
