The Punt Acca: Charlie Huggins has three tips for Tuesday's racing

Carnfunnock (1.10 Ayr)

The Stuart Crawford-trained five-year-old won a bumper over course and distance under Daryl Jacob 12 months ago and there was no shame in being beaten in the two Graded contests that followed behind Champion Bumper winner Facile Vega. Carnfunnock proved he was in good health when overturning expensive point-to-point winner Better Days Ahead at Down Royal at the start of the month. That reappearance run should bring him on for his hurdling debut here, where he reunites with Jacob, and the Simon Munir and Isaac Souede-owned son of Getaway should have the class to make a winning start over obstacles.

Mrs Grimley (2.35 Southwell)

The four-year-old filly won a bumper over course and distance on her stable debut for Ben Pauling and was not disgraced on her first start over hurdles when beaten by Carole's Pass and She's A Saint at Newbury. The first and second chased home the talented Luccia in Listed company when next seen so Mrs Grimley clearly bumped into a couple of smart performers last time. Mrs Grimley could get her head in front as she returns to the scene of her British debut success in a weaker looking event.

Sporting Ace (3.05 Southwell)

A winner of a bumper and a maiden hurdle, Sporting Ace steps into handicap company for the first time off a tempting opening mark of 116. The Neil King-trained six-year-old won his only start beyond three miles under rules at Warwick in May, so this step back up in trip should suit on his handicap debut against several more exposed rivals.
