Bolted up over six furlongs here last month and the early pace he demonstrated when making all on that occasion suggests that this slight drop back in trip will not be an issue. The Middleham Park Racing-owned gelding is the only horse with winning experience in this small field of four and should comfortably make it back-to-back course wins.

Beat two subsequent winners when making a winning rules debut at Worcester in October and was perhaps a little outclassed in Listed company at Cheltenham last time. The form of the Jamie Snowden-trained five-year-old's Worcester win looks stronger than the other bumper winner in the line-up, Sole Solution, who beat just three rivals at Bangor, with Anthony Honeyball's well-bred debutant Smart Casual the most feared to prevent Roger Pol securing a second bumper success.
