Trojan Horse (12.45 Taunton)

Likely favourite Blueking D'Oroux weakened very quickly before being pulled up by Harry Cobden on his stable debut for Paul Nicholls and his presence at the head of the market is largely swayed by him being in the care of the champion trainer. Therefore, Trojan Horse could be the one to side with at a bigger price. Anthony Honeyball's son of Ulysses was well beaten on his hurdling debut but stepped up on that effort when an emphatic winner at Fontwell last time. Trojan Horse was well clear of subsequent Sandown one-two Penna Rossa and Havaila, and a repeat of that effort should see him go close here.

Timeforatune (1.15 Taunton)

Although I will not be siding with Nicholls and Cobden in the first, it's hard to look past Timeforatune recording a second win over hurdles in a race the trainer and jockey won last year with Brave Kingdom. Timeforatune wasn't beaten far in a hot race at Cheltenham last time and should be able to return to winning ways in a weaker event.

She's A Saint (2.15 Taunton)

Chased home Nicky Henderson's smart filly Luccia when stepped up to Listed company last time, proving she belongs in this grade. The Dan Skelton-trained mare was six lengths clear of the previously unbeaten hurdler and Champion Bumper sixth Poetic Music, so the form looks strong. Tackles a right-handed track for the first time under rules but that shouldn't be an issue with the only worry being if Harry Fry's unbeaten Credrojava proves too good.
