Haydock Placepot: Paul Kealy provides his perm for the evening card

Haydock is the best venue for a Placepot as it's the only course in Britain where you will get more than one place in all the races.

Consistent pair Dandy's Angel and Billy Roberts look the ones to concentrate on the opener (5.07), while the next (5.42) is tricky despite just the six runners.

The ground will probably have dried out by race time, but Zim Baby is back on a decent mark and can handle good, while True Jem didn't run badly on ground a bit too quick last time.

A bit more guesswork is needed for the next (6.17), but those who have run haven't looked special.

Batemans Bay is probably the pick, but it's hard to leave out Sir Laurence Graff, for a yard with an excellent record with two-year-olds here.

The fourth (6.52) is another novice, but I'm going to take a chance by banking on Pol Roger, who was very green but eyecatching on his Redcar debut and still managed to finish ahead of the more experienced Venetian.

There isn't much to go on in the fillies' maiden (7.27), but Richard Hannon's Gold Aura showed plenty on her debut after running green and on that evidence it will be hard to keep her out of the frame at this level.

In the final leg (8.02) Monica is the forecast short-priced favourite, but she didn't beat much when last seen and should find this harder.

Bungley and Under The Twilight are the suggestions to get her out of the frame.
