Formerly trained in France, Sistercharlie has shown huge progression for these connections and notched her sixth consecutive victory when coming home three-quarters-of-a-length ahead of Mrs Sippy in the Flower Bowl Stakes at Belmont last time. She should get the perfect trip once again with stablemate Thais setting the race up for her and can assert her dominance late on.

Neptune's Storm(6.17 Santa Anita)

The Qatar Twilight Derby, run on the undercard at Santa Anita, has drawn a really high-class, competitive field and hopes lie with Neptune's Storm taking the prize for trainer Richard Baltas. The speedy three-year-old notched his first Grade 2 victory at Belmont last time out, beaten the top class A Thread Of Blue, and now returns to the west coast, where he previously finished third behind the reopposing Nolde. He looked all over the winner that day in the Del Mar Derby but went for home too soon and should be able to reverse the form with that runner.
