Having been beaten by smart juveniles Eyelool and Nayef Road at the backend of his two-year-old year, Zoffee underwent a gelding operation over the winter and has returned an improved horse this season, with his best two efforts coming over this course and distance. Unlucky to bump into one on his penultimate start here when he travelled strongly, Zoffee readily made amends last time with a comfortable length and three-quarter success. The form of that race was boosted when the second won over the weekend.
