If you're looking to supplement your winnings from day one at the Cheltenham Festival, look no further than Rich Approach in the closing handicap at Newcastle this evening. James Bethell's four-year-old is a course specialist here and has recently hinted that he can reward punters with a third career success off his falling mark. A fine fifth-placed effort over this course and distance in February was followed by a good third at Kempton last time, and he is now racing off just 1lb higher than his last winning rating. Able to run in a 0-60 for the first time since November 2018 (won by a length), Rich Approach should prove very tough to beat.
