Big son of Pivotal who showed ability when fifth on debut in a good novice event in November before unseating on his second outing at Lingfield when rearing badly at the start. He was given a short break after that but broke slowly again last time before running on powerfully to finish a clearcut second behind the talented Longsider. He faces a tough ask here against a couple of previous winners (Union and Hurcle) but has a lot of ability and can make the frame at a double-figure price. Keep an eye out for him in handicap company next time.
