Saeed bin Suroor's team is flying at the moment (29 per cent in the last fortnight) and he should add another winner to that tally in the shape of Piece Of History, who is down to a nice mark of 87 if he puts it all together. He has been disappointing in three runs this year, but a return to the form of his half-length defeat behind Auxerre here last season would easily suffice in a race of this nature. He has been given stall one, so a good break is necessary, but Oisin Murphy is exceptional around this track and should produce him inside the final furlong to reward favourite backers.
