It is hard to find good recent form in the closing 6f handicap and although I was tempted to side with the unexposed Lyons Lane, his draw is poor and he was disappointing when last seen. Consequently it might pay to side with David Thompson's Someone Exciting, who had excuses when running down the field at Redcar last time (draw, posted wide) but ran well on her penultimate outing here and was a winner just three starts back. She has a nice, high draw and gets on well with Harrison Shaw, so everything is in line for a big run.
