The Evening Punt: Robbie Wilders' horse racing tip at Kempton on Monday
DARK HORSE
Sir Valentine (7.50 Kempton)
Nigel Twiston-Davies-trained eight-year-old who has proved disappointing on his last couple of starts but is handicapped to go very well on his chase form at the start of this season. He commenced his campaign with consecutive seconds to Fusil Raffles and Malystic, who have made their mark at graded level since. Sir Valentine also placed in top handicap hurdles behind Not So Sleepy and Pic D'Orhy off much higher marks last season. He is the rank outsider of this four-runner field at around the 8-1 mark but this 2m5f trip could be what he wants nowadays and I'm surprised he isn't shorter.
