Tabdeed and Royal Crusade drop in grade for the feature conditions stakes at Kempton but have not won since July last year and I'm keen to take them on with the returning Bahrain Pride. This three-year-old has clearly had an issue that has kept him away from the track this year but he is very much open to improvement after just four starts at two. He won a Listed event at Ripon on his second start and ran creditably when fourth behind Winter Power in the Cornwallis Stakes on his last start in October last year. He's had wind surgery, sports a first time tongue tie and could just run a big race off a long layoff against more exposed rivals.
