Taurean Star can build on excellent first time out record at Newmarket
Newmarket: David Milnes
Symbolization (3.35 Newmarket, nap)
Has some experience of the neighbouring July course so should handle the track and is bred to handle the ground. Charlie Appleby's hope has been showing up nicely on Waterhall of late.
Others to follow
Newmarket: 1.50 Aurum, 2.25 Global Art, 3.00 Balistic, 4.10 Fire Brigade, 4.45 Stage Magic, 5.20 Accession, 5.55 Evergate.
Lambourn: Nick Deacon
Taurean Star (5.20 Newmarket)
Has won first time out for the past two seasons, and starts the new turf campaign with his debut outing for Ralph Beckett. Looks reasonably weighted and expected to make his presence felt in an open looking handicap.
Others to follow
Exeter: 2.35 Sandhurst Lad.
Newmarket: 1.50 Prevent, 2.25 Porth Swtan, 3.35 Accessor, 4.10 Mafaaheem.
West Country: Tim Mitchell
Choix Des Armes (3.45 Exeter, nap)
Progressing with experience and won with any amount in hand at Wincanton last week. Fancied to take all the beating under his penalty.
Others to follow
Exeter: 2.00 Master Tommytucker, 2.35 Bact To Black, 4.20 Lough Ryn, 4.55 Kavanaghs Corner, 5.30 Herbert Park.
North: Colin Russell
Roller (4.10 Newmarket, nap)
Lightly-raced five-year-old from the Mick Easterby yard. Has a particularly good record fresh, and with conditions to suit and Silvestre de Sousa an interesting booking is fancied to start the year on a winning note.
Others to follow
Carlisle: 2.10 Tickanrun, 2.45 Romulus Du Donjon, 3.20 Cave Top, 3.55 Achill Road Boy, 4.30 Skywards Reward, 5.05 Dica, 5.40 The Some Dance Kid.
Newmarket: 1.50 Epaulement, 3.00 Jackstar, 3.35 Stormbringer, 4.45 Mildenberger, 5.20 Robero, 5.55 Major Jumbo.
Racing Post Ratings: Steve Mason
Choix Des Armes (3.45 Exeter, nap)
Showed much improved form when winning easily on his handicap debut at Wincanton last week and should prove hard to beat under a 7lb penalty.
Topspeed: Dave Edwards
Duke Debarry (3.20 Carlisle)
Disappointed at Doncaster in February but with the stable in fine form should be given a chance to bounce back.
Longshot: Ed Quigley
New Show (4.45 Newmarket)
Won his only start in a minor event at Ayr, but may well improve for the step up in trip and this well bred sort should have more to offer.
Ireland: Tony O'Hehir
Uradel (5.50 Fairyhouse)
The Willie Mullins-trained seven-year-old makes plenty of appeal on his handicap debut. A seven length winner of a novice event at Naas in February when returning from a long absence, he appears to be on an attractive mark and gets the vote to score under Paul Townend.

Evan Williams is 10-28 (36%) with his hurdlers at Exeter since the start of 2016, for a £1 level-stakes profit of £33.12. Cappaway looks worth a second glance in the maiden hurdle at 4.20 based on that statistic.
