Tap Tap Boom looks set to blow rivals away

It took this juvenile four attempts to get off the mark, but he was impressive when doing so in an Epsom novice event and arguably comes into today's nursery with the best form on offer following his excellent run at Glorious Goodwood last time.

George Baker's colt was beaten less than seven lengths in fifth in that 15-runner nursery and the form is strong. The runner-up has since won in Listed company, while the eighth, 11th and 12th are all subsequent winners.

That proved Tap Tap Boom acts on downhill tracks like this and the only concern is the 10-week absence since. However, Baker is unlikely to be bringing his runner back so late in the season if all wasn't well and he has been fairly solid in the market this morning. It is worth taking the 11-2 on offer.
