The son of Planteur was one of the picks of a rather disappointing paddock considering some of the pedigrees on show. He was quite keen and was restrained at the back of the field until making a
little headway inside the last two furlongs, keeping on under hands and heels.

It was a promising first effort on a surface with plenty of cut and how he will operate on better ground is the question, but he looks a colt with a future.
