Sweetspots: Scott can find the key to new recruit Espalion
Espalion is interesting on his first start for Jeremy Scott at Ludlow (12.30). The trainer is an impressive 5-16 with new recruits so the four-year-old can be expected to acquit himself well on his hurdling debut.
It’s Got Legs stayed on creditably at Ascot last time and is worth noting upped in trip at Kempton (3.10). The unexposed five-year-old is also applied with a first-time visor on his second handicap start.

Chris Gordon and Harry Reed operate at a 43 per cent strike-rate when they team up at Kempton. Desiremoi D’Authie bids to improve the pair’s record in the 3.40.
