When Jim Crowley rides for Ian Williams at Doncaster it’s worth taking note. The combination are unbeaten, boasting a 100 per cent strike-rate, and they join forces with Reshoun in the November Handicap (3.15).

Blair Campbell has a 26 per cent strike-rate at Kelso and goes there for two rides, with Mighty Thunder (2.30) rating the highlight. The gelding is having his second run after a wind operation and Campbell takes off a handy 5lb.

Sir Michael Stoute is a trainer in form. He is operating at a 60 per cent strike-rate in the last two weeks and sends just one horse to Doncaster, Crystal Hope (1.30). There looks to be more to come from this lightly raced three-year-old.
