Sweetspots: Maximilian can return to form with first-time visor
I’m In Charge (Wincanton 6.50) won this race in 2016 and hasn’t had many starts since. He absolutely loves this course and distance
(3 from 5) and bounces off fast ground, so after a pipe-opener over hurdles he should be ready to go.
Sir Maximilian is a former winner of the Chester 1.50, as well as another C&D contest, and after some below-par runs at Meydan he returns off a good mark. Trainer Ian Williams is a dab hand with the first-time visor (5-19) and Sir Maximilian looks to hold a chance at a decent price.

Fran Berry sandwiches rides at Chester on Thursday and Friday with the long haul to Chelmsford for two rides. Great Hall (8.10) has a bit to do on the figures but ran his best race for a while last time.
