Credit: Patrick McCann

Colin Tizzard has an 18 per cent when applying first-time blinkers. Sizing Codelco dons the headgear for the first time in the 4.10 at Cheltenham and he shaped well over a trip further than ideal last time.

Mick Easterby and Nathan Evans strike at 23 per cent when teaming up at Chelmsford. They team up in the 7.15 with Bosham, who hasn’t been at his best of late but is five from nine at the course, a tally which includes this race last year.

Knocknamona in the 5.40 Hexham is the best treated horse of the day according to the handicapper. The six-year-old runs off the same mark as his recent win.

Grams And Ounces has yet to hit the target this season but he is beginning to look well handicapped. The ten-year-old is now 9lb lower than when winning the 2.35 Towcester last year.
