Stuart Crawford is 11-29 with his runners at Carlisle and has a strike-rate of 67 per cent when using Brian Hughes at the track. They team up twice – Crawfords Mill (2.45) and Lily’s Gem (5.40).

Charlie Appleby is 10-27 when fitting cheekpieces for the first time. Stage Magic carries a penalty for last season’s Group 3 victory in the 4.45 at Newmarket, but should appreciate the drop in grade.
