Kim Bailey and David Bass have individual strike-rates of 17 and ten per cent at Stratford. That rises to 30 per cent when they combine and they do so with Abbreviate in the 4.00.
David Loughnane had five winners from 21 runners (24 per cent strike-rate, £38 profit to £1 level stakes) in the two-week period either side of today’s date last year. He saddles Bahuta Acha (3.10) and Seamster (3.40) at Bath.
Mick Thonic takes a drop in grade into Class 4 company in the 2.20 at Newton Abbot having won a Class 2 novice chase back in April.
