Windsor is one of those tracks where I always prefer to back front-runners, as opposed to hold-up performers.

Time after time you will see jockeys who manage to gain an uncontested lead slam on the brakes around the bottom bend, stack up the pursuers, and then kick for home passing the three-furlong pole.

That’s exactly how I hope Fergus Sweeney will ride Tyrell, my fancy for the Moulden Marketing Handicap (5.00) at the riverside venue.
