>>Tom Dooley, who was backed at 30 on Betfair, had to dig deep to hold off the challenge of A Likely Story in the 6f handicap at Fairyhouse, although the 1.02 traded on the runner-up looked on the short side.

>>Guardia Svizzera was backed at 40 on his way to winning the 7f maiden at Fairyhouse. He briefly looked in threat a furlong out having kicked clear, but At Your Service appeared to hang fire before running on again after being backed at 1.16.
