THE rain on Tuesday night arrived just in time to stop Ludlow's card from cutting up at the declaration stage and thankfully we have some decent and competitive midweek jumping with which to get to grips.

The Injured Jockeys Fund Handicap Chase (3.05) is a case in point as it would be easy enough to construct a reasonable case for just about every runner.
