Stick with Salutem now that Condon's charge has turned a corner

I joined the In Salutem fan club long ago. It was actually November 2012 when he was beaten a short-head by Zalty in a 6f Dundalk maiden. I thought he was robbed there having been denied room to manoevure at a crucial stage. Little did I know that he was going to spend most of his life looking unlucky.

He has been second 13 times in all and I have quite possibly backed him on each of those occasions. Most of those defeats were gut-wrenching ones by narrow margins. He was once an under-achiever who would burn your pockets quicker than flames.

However, something has changed with In Salutem of late. He is starting to look straightfoward. He is starting to look like a classy sprinter and his rise to a handicap mark of 104 has been no fluke.
