Maggie Thunder looks like a winner in waiting from a basement mark of 49 in the opening handicap at Dundalk (5.00). There were signs that she was coming back into form when fifth over course and distance two weeks ago, beaten just three lengths.

She was a dual winner over track and trip in 2021, scoring from marks of 61 and 66, with the handicapper dropping her a total of 17lb since her last success here. If she is anywhere close to her best, she will take the world of beating.
